Getting Started
The Vanguard Loot Tracker is a real-time dashboard that monitors drops from Ashen Empires. Data is collected automatically by the AEMonitor script and displayed here with live WebSocket updates.
Real-Time Updates
Drops appear instantly via WebSocket connection. Look for the green "Live" indicator in the header.
No Account Needed
Browse drops, view profiles, and check statistics without logging in. Login unlocks extra features.
AEDatabase Integration
Monster and item profiles pull data from AEDatabase for drop locations, expected drops, and item stats.
Mobile Friendly
Works on phones and tablets. Install as a PWA for the best experience.

Recent Drops
The default view showing the latest drops as they happen. Each drop card shows:
Player name - Click to view player profile
Item name - Click to view item profile (gold border = rare)
Discovery badge - Shows when an item drops from an unexpected source
Tip: On desktop, reaction buttons are always visible on each drop card. On mobile, long-press a drop card to open the reaction menu!
All Drops
Browse the complete drop history with powerful filtering options:
Search - Filter by player, item, or monster name
Category filter - Show only weapons, armor, rings, etc.
Rarity filter - Show all drops or rare only
Pagination - Navigate through thousands of drops
Statistics
Comprehensive analytics including:
Activity bar - Drops/hour, rares today, active players, peak hour
Global stats - Total players, drops, monsters, rare rate
Charts - Drops over time, hourly activity, top items, top monsters
Leaderboards - Top players by drops, rares, or luck (daily/weekly/monthly/all-time)
Luckiest players - Players with highest rare drop rates
Recent rares - Latest rare drops across all players
Trends - Hot items and monsters with prediction indicators

Game Events
The dashboard header shows active game events detected by the AEMonitor script:

Toggle Events
Spawn Rate, EXP Boost, and Loot Rate show as toggles - bright when active, dimmed when inactive:
Spawn Rate - Monster spawn rate increased
EXP Boost - Experience gain increased
Loot Rate - Drop rates increased
Temporary Events
These only appear when active:
Boss Spawns - Shows boss name and how long ago it spawned
Knights of Lotor - KoT event is active
Demon Spire - Demon Spire event is active

Reactions
React to drops with emojis. Others can see your reactions in real-time.
Favorites
Save favorite players, items, and monsters. Get notified when they appear in drops.
My Stats
View your personal drop statistics, achievements, and history.
Guild Access
Vanguard members get access to the Guild tab with member management.
Note: Your Discord account must be linked to your in-game character name for personal stats to work. Contact a guild officer if you need help linking.
Notifications
Toast Notifications
In-app notifications appear in the corner when:
A rare drop is found by any player
One of your favorited players/items/monsters appears in a drop
You unlock an achievement
Push Notifications
Get notified even when the dashboard isn't open:
Click the bell icon in the header
Allow notifications when prompted
Receive alerts for rare drops and favorites
Tip: On mobile, install the dashboard as a PWA (Add to Home Screen) for the best notification experience!
Mobile Tips
Install as App (PWA)
iOS: Tap Share > Add to Home Screen
Android: Tap menu > Add to Home Screen (or look for install banner)
This gives you a full-screen app experience with faster loading and push notifications.
Touch Gestures
Tap - Click on players/items/monsters to view profiles
Long press - On drop cards to open reaction menu (mobile only - desktop shows reactions always)
Swipe - Scroll through drop lists
Pull down - Some lists support pull-to-refresh
Expandable Lists
When you see "+X more" buttons in profiles, tap them to expand and see all items. Tap "Show less" to collapse.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see my drops on the dashboard?
To have your drops tracked, you need to join the tracking party. Type /t nexo: pp in the game chat to request a party invite. Once you're in the party, your drops will be automatically tracked and appear on the dashboard.
How do I join the tracking party?
In the game, type /t nexo: pp to send a tell to Nexo requesting a party invite. You'll receive a party invitation which you can accept. Once in the party, all your loot drops will be automatically tracked and displayed on this dashboard in real-time.
What makes an item "rare"?
Items are flagged as rare based on a curated list maintained by the guild. Generally, boss drops, unique equipment, and uncommon crafting materials are considered rare. Rare drops have a gold border and star icon.
What's a "Discovery" badge?
A Discovery badge appears when an item drops from a monster that isn't listed in AEDatabase as a known source. This could mean you found a new drop source, or the database is outdated for that monster.
How is "Luck Rating" calculated?
Luck Rating = (Rare Drops / Total Drops) x 100. A higher percentage means more of your drops are rare items. The leaderboard's "Luckiest Players" shows players with at least 50 total drops.
Where does the monster/item data come from?
Additional information like monster locations, weaknesses, expected drops, and item stats come from AEDatabase, a community-maintained database for Ashen Empires. Tracked drop rates come from our own collected data.
Why is the connection showing red/disconnected?
The WebSocket connection may drop due to network issues. The dashboard will automatically try to reconnect. If it stays disconnected, try refreshing the page. Data will still load, but real-time updates won't appear until reconnected.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes! The dashboard is fully mobile-responsive. For the best experience, install it as a PWA by using "Add to Home Screen" in your browser. This gives you an app-like experience with push notifications.
How do I join Vanguard guild?
Whisper any Vanguard member in-game or join our Discord server. We welcome all players, from new adventurers to veterans!
Why are some item badges not showing?
Item category badges are fetched from AEDatabase. If an item isn't in the database or the fetch fails, no badge will appear. The system loads badges in batches to avoid overwhelming the API.
